The Certification Process
Application
You submit an initial application form and site list describing your company and products. This information helps Eko-Guarantee to understand your application in depth and generate an appropriate quote. To complete this step, send us the signed contract and quote along with your risk assessment fee payment to get started.
Document Submission
You submit detailed information about the processes and product(s) for review. This includes risk assessment, SOPs, Product information, Supplier Details, Production facilities and co packers information.
Document Review Eko-Guarantee
technical evaluator reviews the documents you have submitted. We may ask for clarification or more information during the review.Eko-Guarantee will need to schedule an on-site inspection of your facilities. This is determined by review of your risk assessment.
ON-SITE INSPECTION REVIEW
Authorized Representatives of Eko-Guarantee Will visit your premises. Carrying out the inspection as per respective standards and verifying the compliance and non-compliance.
CORRECTIVE ACTION REVIEW AND CERTIFICATION DECISION
complete the inspection and certification process will be reviewed for compliance up on submission to the Eko-Guarantee.
CERTIFICATION AND ONGOING COMPLIANCE
After approval, you are eligible to use EKO Guarantee certified mark. An annual renewal evaluation will take place from this point forward. Products and facilities can be added to the scope mid-year.
